Update

So an update...  Trevor is 4 week old now, and no sleep is killing us!! Up every 2 hours ugh.  He is worth it though, and hope to get him to sleep longer one of these days.
When he was 7 days old he went into the hospital for 5 days. He had to have a surgery. He had leakage coming out of his cord. There was a communication cord that was connected to the small intestiant that needed to be closed. The surgren was awsome!! We were very thankful to have him work on Trevor. Trevor recovered quickly from his surgery, and was a good baby! Thanks to everyone that helped us with Taylor!! Poor Taylor was in school when I found out I had to go into the hospital so Vern and Becca helped us the first night with Tay and then Grandma and Papa helped out the rest of the weekend, and then Joe went home Sunday, which was Halloween and took Tay trick-or-treating and got a good nights rest in there own beds and with out the baby.
At Trevors 1 month visit (3 wks) he wieghed 7 lbs 12 oz. So he is doing great!! I have been trying to get him to sleep in his room and the first 3 nights he slept for 4 hours the first round!! It was great, then something happened and he turned back to his red-hair tempers waking up every 2 hrs. Yes I blame the red hair.

Taylor!! He has been awsome!!! He was a great and very understanding when Trevor was in the hospital, and said it was sad seeing his brother in the hospital, and he didn't like to look at him in his bed. By the next couple days Tay was holding him and loving him again. For Halloween he was a MUMMY. Dad made his costum and the hospital gave us some gauze to help with his outfit!!  He turned 8 years old, had his first sleep over with his two friends. (Mom and Dad survived!) Then we had his Baptism the following weekend, he was so cute, when we were leaving to go back home, G-ma Dorathy was riding with us and he said Grandma I feel different, I feel the holy ghost with me. It was so cute!!   This last Friday was his first run, he joined a running club at school, and Gilbert had there Gilbert Days and Tay ran his fisrt 1 Mile run, he loved it! Dad tried to keep up with him on the side walk, and Tay kicked his butt! Go Taylor!!  Taylor loves being a big brother, and is a helper to me. He love to hold him and kiss him.

Pictures of these event will come later.

Trevor has arrived!

So our little Trevor Vincent arrived 10/21/10 at 4:47 pm. He weighed 6 lbs 7 oz and was 19 3/4 inches long. He is so perfect! We have waited a long 4 or so years for this little guy to find his way home, and he is finally here, what a miracle.

Big Brother Taylor is so proud of him as well, he can't keep his hands off him, but is also a great helper to mom!

Joe is being the best husband and father, and i couldn't do this with out him! Thanks Sweetie

Taylor was so excited to have a brother that he could one day pick on, and beat on... and we told Taylor that Trevor is already winning the battle, because Trevor has him whooped right now.

It's very different being home and being a mom, then it has been the last few years that I've been working. I almost am lost and don't know what to do with myself. We get up and get Taylor ready for school, and we get to drive him to school and wish him a happy day, then come home and the chores begin. Laundry, dishes, feeding, sleeping. Blogging, Facebooking, catching up on Movies. Planning Taylor's Birthday sleepover, and baptism.   I just have to keep myself busy.

Week 40

So today is week 40... the "due date" - What did I do? Couldn't sleep in, so I got up and watched the News. Let Taylor sleep in for an hour then he usually wakes up for school. Then took him to school, which he loved. Came home started the laundry, then Joe was coming home early so I started paying those dreadful bills, we then ran some errands, waited for Taylor to come home from School, made dinner and then the family went for a bike ride, down by the canal.  Keep myself busy!

Upcomming Event

NOV 13th at 1:00 pm = Taylor's Baptism!! Save this date, because I know how calendars fill up!!
I will get more details soon. (Like where our stake center is...) How teribble is that, that I don't know where it is.  I have an idea of the location, but need to get the  address, so I can make sure we all make it to the same place.

Blogging

I will be home next week waiting for the baby to come, so I will be able to learn more about blogging next week.  This seems so simple, yet I still need to take time to read on how to do a few things to make this page more interesting.

I am going to need some cheap craft ideas to keep me busy next week.  I have a quilt that has been sitting for 2 plus years that need to be finished, so that is a project on my list to do.  I keep you posted if I actually get to that though :-).
